Dr. Arjun Srivatsa is one of the most recognized and respected Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon in India. He brings with him rich experience of over 10 years in the field. He is known for his expertise in using the latest neuro-surgery technology and his methods have improved the results in spine surgery.
Dr. Srivatsa also has a keen interest in all kinds of spinal problems and has earned himself numerous fellowships in the United States, Korea and Japan.
During his years he has done over 1500 case of Spine surgery and also brain tumours, head surgeries and pediatric problems. He is also the Neurosurgeon for Jehovah’s witnesses from around the world as he specializes in the art of surgery without blood transfusion.
Born in 1966, Dr. Srivatsa finished schooling in Mumbai and is a part of the 1989 graduate batch from the prestigious Karnataka Medical College. He was awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery degree in January 1991 after completion of his Rotatory Internship in General Surgery, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Social & Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Srivatsa also underwent one year training, (1991-1992), in General Surgery at the St. John’s Medical College & hospital, Bangalore as per specification of the National Board of Examinations towards the five year Direct courses in Neurosurgery.
In addition, he also trained for four years, from 1992-1996, as a resident in Neurosurgery at the Dr Achantha Lakshmipathi Neurosurgical Center, VHS Medical Center, Chennai.
In 1996, Dr. Srivatsa was the founding partner of a medical technology company involved in developing medical portals and platforms for virtual medical training. He has served as the Indian Medical Association (East) President in 2002,member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, and member of the Congress of the Neurological Sciences in the US. Dr. Srivatsa is a trustee in a women-oriented NGO (Guild of Women Achievers) and the Road Accidents Victims Association, as well as a Rotarian and a Paul Harris fellow. In addition, he is a Director on the Board of Kirloskar Medical
Technologies Limited and a founding trustee of the Spine Trust, which caters to the needs of poor patients enduring spinal problems.

Apart from this, he also has attended numerous courses and conferences including the update for young Neurosurgeons held at Osaka in 1999, The World Spine Congress at Germany in 2000 in addition to host of other courses and conferences worldwide. This highlights his focus on continued education in the field.
